VIEWED 5 TIMES

President of the International University of the Caribbean, IUC, Professor Reverend Dr Roderick Hewitt, says faith-based tertiary Institutions are under immense pressure to raise funds.

He says they have no financial support from the government.

Professor Hewitt says they’ve had to adjust to the changing times to keep relevant by seeking support from external sources.

The new President says they’ll be considering some new possibilities under his leadership.

He says he’ll be seeking to partner with other countries outside the US and Europe with a similar focus to develop a music school and a peace institute.

Professor, Reverend Dr Roderick Hewitt, President of the IUC speaking last  week with the media at the university’s graduation in Kingston.
