Debutant Rovman Powell stars in West Indies Win


The West Indies have made a winning start to their Tri-Series campaign in Zimbabwe by defeating Sri Lanka in their opening match. Debutant Jamaican Rovman Powell blasted a 29 ball 44 (2 fours, 3 sixes) to support Jonathan Carter who top scored with 54. The Windies posted 227 all out from 49.2 overs.

Sri Lanka then responded with 165 all out, after Shannon Gabriel and Ashley Nurse took 3 wickets each.
