A local player in the Business Process Outsourcing, BPO sector, is calling on the country’s telecommunications companies to re-invest in their infrastructure and improve their service.
Customers of the two telecommunications giants, Flow and Digicel, have been experiencing intermittent loss of connectivity, recently.
Founding Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Itel BPO, Yoni Epstein, says BPO companies are also on the receiving end of poor service from the telecommunications providers.
He says the patchy service from the telecom companies has serious implications for the local BPO sector, which provides some 50-thousand jobs locally.
